Troades (Greek for The Trojan Women) is the legend of the women of Troy at the conclusion of the ten-year war with the Greek armies. The Greeks laid siege to Troy and engaged in heroic battles in order to retrieve the great beauty, Helen (of Troy), eventually resorting to the trick of the great (Trojan) Horse filled with soldiers.
