The Royal Scottish Country Dance Society of Boston presents The Old World Meets The New – An Afternoon of Scotish Music & Dance

The Royal Scottish Country Dance Society of Boston (rscdsboston.org) presents its annual Concert and
Ceilidh, featuring Alasdair White & Eric McDonald. 

Alasdair (fiddle) and Eric (guitar) are a duo whose music bridges the deep roots of Scottish tradition with the
dynamic pulse of North American folk. They are also 2/4 of the Scottish power trad quartet Cantrip. Together
they seek to create sounds that are both timeless and adventurous, striving for a character marked by nuance,
energy and an abiding respect for tradition. 

Also featured are Stephen Thomforde (pipes), Highland Dance Boston, and the Boston Scottish Country
Dancers.
All are welcome to participate in ceilidh dancing at the intermission.
