On John Lennon’s birthday, Friday, October 9th, please join us at the Regent as we celebrate the life, lyrics and music of John Lennon, both with the Beatles and as a solo artist. 

Acclaimed musician and songwriter Scott Damgaard and his band, along with several guest singers, will bring John Lennon’s music to life, with a full on concert focused on John Lennon’s music. The hosts of Breakfast with the Beatles, ChaChi Loprete and John Logan will be on hand to emcee the festivities. 

“John Lennon is my favorite singer and songwriter,” says Scott Damgaard, “but like most of us, I’ve never had the chance to hear him live in concert. So one year on John’s birthday, I decided to dedicate the whole night to singing his music, and it felt magical, like a John Lennon concert. For fifteen years since then, I’ve done a concert of John Lennon songs on his birthday, and every year it gets bigger and better. I am truly excited to be bringing the biggest show yet to the Regent stage this year–a show that will be as close to experiencing a John Lennon concert as possible, with lots of wonderful singers and musicians.”
