The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Inner City Recordings to Be Released Digitally and as Disc-On-Demand

Masterworks Broadway has announced the cast recordings which will be made available through digital services and as discs-on-demand in February and March.

On February 15, the company will re-release the Off-Broadway cast recording of The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. Based on James Thurber’s short story, the 1964 show features music by Leon Carr and lyrics by Earl Shuman. The company features Marc London, Cathryn Damon, Lorraine Serabian and Rue McClanahan.

Eve Merriam and Helen Miller’s Inner City will be released by Masterworks Broadway on March 15. Based on Merriam’s book The Inner City Mother Goose, the 1971 show recounts children’s tales with a contemporary urban vibe, and features Delores Hall, Larry Mashall, and Allan Nichols, along with Linda Hopkins, who won a Tony Award for her performance.
