Lineup for 2012 London International Mime Festival Announced

The lineup for the 2012 London International Mime Festival has been announced. The event will run at various venues throughout London, January 11-29

The festival will include a single offering at the Soho Theatre, The Table (January 11-21), presented by the U.K. company Blind Summit. Festival offerings at the Southbank Centre will include Pss Pss (January 14-16) by Switzerland’s Baccala Clowns; Tell Me The Truth and Other Stories (January 17-18) by France’s Autour du Mime; Tendra Suie (January 19-22) from France’s Toron Blues; L’Autre (January 23-25) by Claudio Stellato from Belgium; André and Dorine (January 26-29) by Spain’s Kulunka Teatro; and Mundo Paralelo (January 20-22), presented by the U.K. based NoFit State Circus.

The Mime Festival will also include a single production at the Linbury Studio Theatre at the Royal Opera House: Haptic + Holistic Strata (January 16-17) from Japan’s Hiroaki Umeda; and at the Barbican, productions in the festival will include L’Immediat (January 18-21) by France’s Camille Boitel; Translunar Paradise (January 17-21) by Theatre Ad Infinitum; 2 Dimenstional Life of Her (January 24-28) from Australia’s Fleur Elise Noble.

Additional offerings will be Plucked (January 17-22), by the English company Invisible Thread; and Fragments de Vie (January 24-28), from France’s Théâtre Tête de Pioche, at London’s Roundhouse. And Sugar Beast Circus will offer three performances of {Event(Dimension):}, at Jacksons Lane, running January 27-29.
