Jeremy Jordan, Rita Moreno, Laura Osnes, and More Have a Ball on the Opening Night of Cinderella on Broadway

The first-ever Broadway production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella, featuring a book by Tony Award nominee Douglas Carter Beane (The Little Dog Laughed) celebrated its opening night with a swanky ball at New York's Gotham Hall on Sunday, March 3. Directed by Tony nominee Mark Brokaw (The Lyons), Cinderella began previews at the Broadway Theatre on January 25.

Tony Award nominee Laura Osnes (Bonnie & Clyde) and Drama Desk Award winner Santino Fontana (Sons of the Prophet) lead the company of the musical as Cinderella and Topher, her prince. The principal cast of the ultimate make-over story also includes Tony Award winners Victoria Clark (The Light in the Piazza) as Marie, Cinderella's Fairy Godmother, and Harriet Harris (Thoroughly Modern Millie) as Cinderella's evil Stepmother; Peter Bartlett (The Drowsy Chaperone) as Sebastian, Prince Topher's mentor; Ann Harada (Avenue Q) and Marla Mindelle (Sister Act) as Cinderella's stepsisters Charlotte and Gabrielle; Greg Hildreth (Peter and the Starcatcher) as the rebellious Jean-Michel; and Phumzile Sojola (The Gershwins' Porgy & Bess) as Lord Pinkleton.
