Jonathan Freeman has been providing the voice of Jafar, the villain in Disney's Aladdin franchise, for over two decades. But the stage version of the story, which opened at Broadway's New Amsterdam Theatre earlier this month, marks the first time that Freeman has stepped into the role physically. In this new video from the production, the actor discusses how he creates Jafar's iconic rasp and embodies the role in a whole new way.
