The film stars Helen Mirren as Prospera, a female version of the mystical Prospero, as well as Russell Brand, Alfred Molina, Djimon Hounsou, David Strathairn, Chris Cooper, Alan Cumming, Ben Whishaw, Reeve Carney, and Felicity Jones.

The film, which has been screened as part of the New York Film Festival, and as previously announced, will get a special screening at BAM as a benefit for Theatre for a New Audience on October 17.
