Dracula

The companies of Reach & O Dance are delving into the underworld this Halloween season with their debut of Dracula. The Eissey Campus Theatre, at Palm Beach State College, will be transformed into a grand hotel hosting the premiere of a new silent film about vampires. Unbeknownst to the audience, a real vampire was cast as the star, “Drac,” artfully danced by Shannon Smith, a graduate of The Harid Conservatory and formerly of Ballet Florida. Reach & O Dance deliciously juxtapose the darkness of the blood- leeching predators with the glamour of the 1920’s, enchanting audiences with a jazz-filled score.
