Hamlet is the only one who knows who has killed his father – the man about to marry his mother! When he alerts the murderer to the fact, he puts his own life in danger. But in a dangerous, nightmarish place where no-one can be trusted, how can he mentally and physically survive to avenge his father’s horrific death? One of Shakespeare’s best known and most performed plays the part of Hamlet is one that very many actors aspire to – though bringing a new nuance to “To be or not to be” whilst half the audience mouth along with you must be very demanding! This new production intends to take a fresh look at the play through contemporary eyes.
