Daughters of Catastrophe

About the Show

Among other things, Daughters of Catastrophe is about the agony of relinquishing youth. In separate stories with related themes, three women embody the difficulty of adult transition within American culture.

The Daughters of Catastrophe are the inheritors of a society where things often matter more than human concerns. The play features women whose desires are diverted by affluence. As much as any previous generation, these women must grapple with mythologies of motherhood, marriage, and family.
