22 Awkward Moments

Using dialogue, movement, music, and props, Mara Siciliano illustrates 22 embarrassing moments in her life. She opens the show as a four-year old and ages throughout the performance, closing with tales of her early twenties. Siciliano evokes and magnifies moments that are reflectively humorous, personal yet universal. Nothing is left uncovered: boys, bras, the creative desire, crying, dumping disasters, pop culture, and all the cringe-worthy moments that exemplify youth in the 1980s and ’90s.
