About This Show

The Spitfire Grill is a radiant musical story of a young woman’s search for a new direction to her life. To a town with no future comes a girl with a past as Percy Talbot’s search for new direction in life leads her to Gilead, Wisconsin. Landing a waitressing job at the Spitfire Grill, Percy begins to motivate an otherwise empty-hearted town. The stunning, remarkable effect she has on everyone around her soon alters lives and relationships forever. Heart-warming and home-spun, the simple beauty of this folk tale lies in the complex fabric of its music and characters. The score is a mixture of country and bluegrass that is pure Americana in sound.

“It is penetrated by honesty, and it glows.” — The New York Times.
