About This Show

Silver Spring Stage presents Ten Little Indians, the ultimate whodunit, adapted for the stage in 1943 by Dame Agatha Christie. This classic murder mystery, which begins when ten strangers are invited to an isolated mansion on an English island by a mysterious, unknown host. One by one, the guests begin dying off–murdered it seems by the unseen host. As the bodies pile up, the guests realize there’s no way off the island. Christie’s added an interesting twist–each death is foretold in the children’s poem, “Ten Little Indians” hanging over the fireplace. On the mantelpiece are also ten figurine Indians corresponding to the nursery rhyme. As each figurine is broken, another houseguest is killed. Pauline Griller-Mitchell directs.
