About This Show

Theatre Project presents a non-verbal Romeo & Juliet created by Bond Street Artistic Director Joanna Sherman and Bulgaria’s Theatre Tsvete. Taking this timeless tale and infusing it with shadow puppets and movement-based theatre techniques, Sherman and Bulgarian director XX illustrate how theatre can be used to bring people together in areas town apart by conflict. This production has toured in areas torn apart by suffering and war, including the former Yugoslavian provinces.
