August Wilson’s Radio Golf plays CENTERSTAGE’s Pearlstone Theater, directed by Kenny Leon.
The final installment of Pulitzer Prize-winner August Wilson’s monumental saga of African American experience again revisits Pittsburgh’s beleaguered Hill District, now pitted against itself. It’s 1997, and two rising black entrepreneurs — and political hopefuls — are on the brink of making it big. The hitch is a legacy that isn’t about to go away. Race and real estate are tricky enough, but one thing’s for sure: you just can’t pave over your past.
Additional Wednesday matinee on April 12th at 1 pm.
