New York City
This Edinburgh Festival award-winning production has just completed an incredible, sold-out U.K. tour. On the evening of August 7, 1974, U.S. President Richard Nixon summons Henry Kissinger, his Secretary of State, to the White House for a secret meeting. The next day, Nixon becomes the first US President to resign from office. What happened behind closed doors is the subject of Nixon’s Nixon, a witty, often wicked, hugely entertaining evening of theatrical sleight of hand. Performed in the Jane Mallet Theatre, this production is being presented as part of the du Maurier World Stage Festival.
