Alice in Wonderland

Follow Alice down the white rabbit’s hole in the world premiere Children’s Playhouse musical Alice in Wonderland at Casa Mañana Theatre. Lost and bewildered, Alice encounters the Mad Hatter, a Cheshire Cat, the Queen of Hearts, and numerous other bizarre creatures involved in quite odd happenings. Lewis Carroll’s classic story of a very logical girl in a very illogical world is sure to be fun for the entire family. The book, music and lyrics are by Casa Mañana Children’s Playhouse resident performers Brad Jackson and Sarah Slaughter. This new musical version features outrageous and stunning costumes and sets, appropriately discordant bluesy music, dancing mushrooms, a hookah-puffing caterpillar and a very unfair croquet match involving hedgehogs and flamingos that combine to create a most peculiar and frustrating dream world for Alice.
