In Irene O’Garden’s Women on Fire, Tony Award-winner Judith Ivey portrays a dozen passionate women with plenty to say. It begins with a photographer assigned to do portraits of eleven women, each on the brink of self-discovery. Through the lens we meet Fern, a mid-west housewife who longs to be a grandmother, Clover, a high-powered executive on the verge of quitting the business and Eileen, an Irish American, who is caring for her dying mother.
