About This Show

Union Square is a new political play with music about one of the most important artistic and cultural meeting points in New York City. The play examines the complex lives of eight multicultural strangers who come into contact with one another in the square. Told through hip hop, dance, R&B, Afro-drumming, skits, comedy and spoken word, the play is being developed by Rajendra Ramoon Maharaj and features a cast of some of New York City’s most talented spoken word and theater artists.
