The Yardbirds: Family Resource Associates (FRA) Fundraiser

The Yardbirds an institution which, from ’63 to ’68, made an indelible mark on the “Shapes of Things” to come. Known as the band of Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck & Jimmy Page. Hits “For Your Love”, “Heart Full of Soul”, “I’m A Man”. Led Jim McCarty (drums), Chris Dreja (rhythm guitar/bass) & the late Keith Relf (vocals/harmonica). The’68 break-up set the stage for Rock ‘n’ Roll’s future, leading Jimmy Page to form the New Yardbirds, later re-christened Led Zeppelin! McCarty & Dreja brought them into the 21st Century with the ’03 release “Birdland”. The band commemorated their 50th Anniversary with the release of their live DVD Making Tracks in ’13. In ’15, Jim McCarty debuted the new line-up consisting of guitarist Johnny A, ‘NJ’s’ bassist Kenny Aaronson, singer/harpist /percussionist Myke Scavone & guitarist/singer John Idan!
