Heaven Can Wait

Heaven Can Wait, based on the 1941 film starring Robert Montgomery Here Comes Mr. Jordan, follows an overeager angel who mistakenly snatched Joe’s spirit and gives him a chance to return to earth. Unfortunately Joe’s manager has just had his body cremated. His “new” body is that of the wealthy, pompous Bruce Farnsworth, an unpopular fellow about to be murdered by his wife. Members of the audience continue to see “Joe,” while the show’s cast sees the unpopular millionaire. And Farnsworth just isn’t the same guy he used to be!
