Born Yesterday follows the story of Harry Brock, a crude, corrupt junk dealer who decides his showgirl mistress Billie Dawn’s ignorance is becoming a liability to his somewhat illegal business dealings with a congressman. Brock hires a journalist, Paul Verrall, to help his girlfriend become more educated and refined, but his plans go awry when she smartens up to his wicked ways! Audiences will embrace Garson Kanin’s award-winning comedy about politics and the power of female persuasion.
