About This Show

The Syringa Tree chronicles the lives of two families, one white and one black, and the two children born into their shared household in 1960’s South Africa. Seen through the eyes of a child trying to make sense of the chaos, magic, and darkness of Johannesburg during the days of apartheid.

There are no performances on Saturdays, October 12 and 19 at 2:00pm; Sundays, October 13 and November 3 at 7:00pm; and Tuesday, October 29 at 7:30pm.
