The Bremen Town Musicians

Adapted from the classic fairy tale, The Bremen Town Musicians is the story of four friendly, musical animals off to seek their fortunes.

From the classic Grimm Brothers fairy tale, the California Theatre Center brings four adventurous barnyard animals – a donkey, a dog, a rooster, and a cat – to local audiences. After they are abandoned by their masters during California’s Gold Rush Era, this fun-loving foursome create a musical group and take off to seek their fortunes!

Enhanced with recognizable folk melodies such as “I’ll be Workin’ on the Railroad” and “Oh Give Me a Home…” families will leave the theatre humming the tunes The Bremen Town Musicians perform.
