Sharon McNight presents Sophie Tucker’s Farewell Tour

Sharon McNight, Tony Award nominee and Theater World Award winner for her role in “Starmites”, has gone on to a celebrated bi-coastal career, being voted Best Actress receiving the San Francisco Bay Area Critics’ Circle Award and winning the New York Critics Nightlife Award for Best Musical Theater Cabaret Show. She recently made her opera debut in “Show Boat” with the San Francisco Opera Company.

Sharon has been performing the works of Sophie Tucker for more than two decades. Sophie, who livened up early 20th century nightclubs, Broadway and films with her risque jokes and classic popular songs, , had a career that spanned half a century. Tucker was widely known as the “Last of the Red Hot Mamas.”
