Little Shop of Horrors
Little Shop of Horrors is a horror comedy rock musical with music by Alan Menken and lyrics and a book by Howard Ashman. The story follows a woeful florist shop worker, Seymour, who raises a plant he happened upon, and names it after his secret love, Audrey. Little does he know that Audrey II feeds on human blood and flesh! With the style of early 1960s rock and roll, doo-wop, and early Motown swinging you along, you will love the music, including the title song, “Skid Row (Downtown),” “Somewhere That’s Green,” and “Suddenly, Seymour.” Don’t miss out on this “monstrous” musical of a show!
Little Shop of Horrors is a production of the Los Altos Youth Theatre, which is a program of the City of Los Altos’ Recreation and Community Services Department and Los Altos Stage Company.
