Defending the Caveman returns to San Francisco for a limited two week engagement at the Marines Memorial Theatre. Hailed "a comic phenomenon" by The New York Times and an "outrageously funny and surprisingly sweet exploration of the gender gap" by the Chicago Sun Times, Defending the Caveman, is the longest running solo play in Broadway history. Running for 702 performances, Defending the Caveman played for two and a half years on Broadway, making it the longest running solo play in Broadway’s history; this blockbuster comedy is now a worldwide hit with productions in 30 countries, including Canada, South Africa, Iceland, Sweden, and Germany, and has been translated into more than 15 different languages.
