The Gin Game

Theatre Exile presents The Gin Game, by D.L. Coburn, directed by Artistic Director Joe Canuso and starring Barrymore Award winning actor Harry Philibosian and Jane Moore. The veteran actors play Weller Martin and Fonsia Dorsey, two people who meet in a home for the aged and start a game of gin and a contentious relationship. With each successive hand another layer of each character’s initially tough skin is removed. They become progressively more complex and more vulnerable. The game becomes a metaphor for their lives, filled with hope, disappointment and illusory success.
