About This Show

As part of the 2011 Philly Fringe Festival, Curio Theatre Company Presents William Golding’s Lord Of The Flies.

A stage adaptation by Nigel Williams. Performed FREE to the Public outside in West Philly’s beautiful Clark Park.
This show is a must see!

Curio Theatre’s Artistic Director Paul Kuhn directs an ensemble comprised of Curio’sprofessional young adult actors playing the main characters and a small tribe of Curio’s theatre school students playing the younger boys or “littluns’.

Performed outside with simple natural set pieces, torches and a few necessary props (like a boars head). The play begins at 7pm, just before sunset. Curio will present this play without the use of modern lighting instruments, but rather utilize the natural light of day. While the tribe turns chaotic, the sun will set upon the boys. An evening in Clark Park serves as the perfect backdrop for this descent into the darkness of Golding’s classic story.

Tickets are FREE so you have no excuse to miss it!
