Named “one of the top jazz pianists in the world” (Los Angeles Times) and “the most lyrical piano player of our time” (Jazz Weekly), Philadelphia native Kenny Barron has been on the jazz scene for over 50 wildly successful years. With an unmatched ability to mesmerize audiences on the piano, Barron’s elegant delivery of standards and original rhythms have led to a host of honors, including nine Grammy® nominations and an induction into the Jazz Hall of Fame. Joined by Kiyoshi Kitagawa on bass and another Philadelphia native, Johnathan Blake, on drums, Barron’s sensitive melodies and infectious personality will light up the stage.
