Festival UnBound – Homecoming: Black Women Speak
Free or By Donation
Showtime: 5pm
For far too long, the voices of Black women have been silenced and disregarded in churches, community organizations, corporate America, and other institutions. This year’s Homecoming celebration looks to the brave souls and wisdom keepers who, despite disrespect and disparaging comments, persevered and said to the world “I am somebody.”
In an evening of music, spoken word, inspirational messages, and community, we raise up the voices of Black women in the Greater Lehigh Valley, who “made a way out of no way!”
