The Boyfriend

In 1954, the British ingenue Julie Andrews made her Broadway debut in The Boyfriend. Half a century later, Ms. Andrews brings the same show to Wilmington’s DuPont theatre, launching the production’s national tour.

Sandy Wilson’s 1920s musical is a lighthearted farce set in a French finishing school where all of the pupils are intent on bagging themselves a boyfriend.
