Sparky, Smudge, Jinx and Frankie are high school chums (Class of ’56) who love to sing. They team up and dream of joining their idols – The Four Lads, The Four Freshmen and The Hi-Lo’s – as pop music icons. They become Forever Plaid – a name that reflects their most cherished values: Family, Home and Harmony. Highlights of Plaid Tidings include a comic three-minute history of The Ed Sullivan Show and live back-up vocals for a video-projected Perry Como. The show includes such standards as “Hey There,” “Let it Snow,” “Stranger in Paradise,” and “I’ll be Home for Christmas.”
