About This Show

An energetic child clown, Loonette was so named because of her large reading glasses (lunettes in French), and her loony personality. Loonette sits on a big, comfy green couch with a floral print and spends much of her time playing with her best friend, a doll named Molly. She is adventuresome and mischievous — traits which can sometimes lead to surprises — but always takes responsibility for her actions.

Loonette loves acting, storytelling, singing, and dancing. Together Loonette and Molly play games, read stories and participate in imaginative activities that teach sharing and caring for others. The freckle-faced Loonette sports black hair (with side pony-tails), a round red ball on her nose, black and white striped stockings, a loose uniform-like dress, and a blue hat. Together with her friends, they enjoy all the wild and wacky treasures which can be found under the cushions of an enormous couch.
