About This Show

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey presents Richard II. Directed by Paul Mullins, the rarely produced history play is the first ‘installment’ of Shakespeare’s royal tetralogy about the rise fo the House of Lancaster. Richard’s detachment from the common people–combined with flagrant spending habits, questionable funding methods, and reliance on ill-chosen counselors–ultimately results in his epic fall from power.
