The legendary Liza Minnelli is an icon in the world of music, stage and screen. During her career, she has won an Oscar, three Tony awards, two Golden Globe awards, a Grammy award and an Emmy award among many other honors.

Minnelli was only three years old when her first movie was released. To this day she continues her award-winning career with ongoing concerts and upcoming screen projects. Some of her many noteworthy work on stage and screen include: Cabaret; Flora, the Red Menace; The Sterile Cuckoo; Tell Me That You Love Me, Junie Moon; Stepping Out, Arthur, and New York, New York.

In addition, her recordings include such hits as Liza Minnelli at Carnegie Hall, The Complete Capital Collection, Live From Radio City Music Hall, Gently, and albums which earned her Gold records: Cabaret, Results, and the soundtrack to her landmark Emmy winning TV special, Liza with a Z, which was recently released on DVD.

Liza has just earned acclaim for singing with the group My Chemical Romance on their chart-topping album The Black Parade, as well as accolades for screen appearances in The OH in Ohio, and Arrested Development. The star’s new album, TV special, and stage show will pay tribute to her Godmother, adored arranger, performer, and author of Eloise, Kay Thompson – Thomson’s music is scheduled to be included in Minnelli’s NJPAC performance.

This special event is part of The Whiteweld Foundation Concert Series and a portion of the net proceeds will benefit Don Bosco Preparatory School’s Scholarship & Community Outreach Programs.
