About This Show

The critically acclaimed New Jersey Tap Dance Ensemble celebrates African-American Heritage month by taking the audience on a joy-filled ride from Harlem to Hollywood, exploring and celebrating the contributions of African-American artists from the street corner to the stage and screen. The concert performance recreates the explosive energy and elegance of the Harlem Renaissance, drawing inspiration from pioneers Bill "Bojangles" Robinson to the powerful driving force of today’s tap dancers.
