About This Show
For the last six years, Ovations Dance Repertory Company’s The Nutcracker Suite has been a perennial holiday favorite for the young and young at heart. The production is new and exciting each year, with Artistic Director Orlando Pena creating a delightful blend of tradition and anticipation by adding fresh choreography to each year’s performance. Described in Newsday as “The Nutcracker Sweet,” the show keeps young and old alike waiting for the next enchanting scene. The larger than life backdrops showcase the talented dancers in their lavish costumes perfectly.
On Thursday, December 7, there is a special 45 minute performance for senior citizens and the disabled. Ticket prices for this performance only are $10.00; the show begins at 2:00 PM.
Special rates are available for groups of 20 or more and for Girl and Boy Scouts.
