About the Show

Canada’s captivating Royal Winnipeg Ballet brings the most famous dance hall in history to life. When the Moulin Rouge (‘Red Mill’) opened in 1889, Paris was a city where the heady elixir of personal freedom bred lifestyles that were often reckless and addictive. The ballet tells the story of Matthew and Nathalie who are drawn to Paris by the city’s passion. They tempt the fates as they seek love and destiny in the infamous cabaret… the Moulin Rouge.
