In the stunning adaptation of Stephen King’s gripping thriller, romantic fiction novelist Paul Sheldon is driving inebriated through the Colorado hills and loses control of his car. He winds up in a dilapidated farmhouse cut off from the rest of the world, with the exception of the schizophrenic fan insistent on nursing him back to health. Thus begins Paul’s decent into a living hell of pain, humiliation, degredation, and Misery.
