The Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts “Live in the Lobby” Concert Series presents two local South Shore groups that are on their way up. Jay Scott’s unique sound features original songs that range from bluesy rockers to acoustic ballads. Jay and his band have been working on their new album since late 2005 and plan to debut a number of new compositions. The acoustic sound of The Sun Gets Down features the vocals and guitars of James Boone and Ryan Engelbert; their up tempo songs offer delightful vocal harmonies and blazing acoustic lead guitars.
Live in the Lobby is a series of concerts for small audiences held in the lobby of the historic Patchogue Theatre on the first Thursday of every month. These concerts feature artists from the Long Island area playing a wide variety of mostly original music in an intimate and comfortable setting. All ages are welcome.
