New York City
Conceived and directed by Phyllis Kirigin, Hearts & Arrows presents a sophisticated, clever and classy view of love in all its aspects. Dressed in tux and gowns, an older couple and a younger couple offer grown-up fun with just the right touch of attitude! The show features classic gems from Shakespeare’s Elizabethan England to the present, including excerpts from the works of Edna St. Vincent Millay, Robert Browning, Dorothy Parker and the poignant balcony scene from Noel Coward’s Private Lives. In addition, there’s the delightful music of Cole Porter, Jerry Bock, Sheldon Harnick, and Lerner and Loewe.
