Word of Mouth

The Word of Mouth plays are written to fill the lobbies, mezzanines, escalators, bridges, nooks and crannies of the World Financial Center complex that business people pass through every day but don’t really “see.” The plays, all by women, take place in real time and touch on real issues that are part of a real working woman’s daily life and take place in real public spaces as real people go about their ordinary and very real business day. Part of the experiment is to see how real people react as a play happens next to them or around them or even with them.
