About This Show

thin line is a play without words…a musical without song…a dance performance that tells a story…this performance intertwines the lives of eight present day New Yorkers in their 20’s and what they experience in the course of one powerful and cathartic night – New Year’s Eve. Combining all genres of dance and multi-media imaging and original music, this explores the complex relationships between friends, lovers, family as well as oneself, while tackling such socially-aware issues as AIDS, homophobia, addiction, violence, love and death. This also deals head-on with our own social
ideals of trust, obsession, self-destruction and self-discovery, culminating in personal loss. It ultimately shows how every action we take affects the ultimate outcome.
