Singers Forum Benefit Gala

Presented at the Singers Forum Benefit Gala, the 11th Annual Andy Anselmo Awards honor excellence in the performing arts and the school’s commitment to supporting vocal training for disadvantaged and at-risk New York area children and performances for the area’s elderly.

Receiving this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award is Broadway, concert and cabaret star Karen Akers. The evening’s other top honors go to Singers Forum students Stephanie Baldwin and Alexia Tate.

Scheduled to perform are Andy Anselmo, the Achievement Award winners, the Philip A. Campanella Youth Scholarship Chorus, and possibly Ms. Akers herself. Broadway and cabaret performer KT Sullivan and Back Stage Editor-at-Large Sherry Eaker are among the celebrity presenters.
