American pianist Aglaia Koras opens her sixth season of music making at Weill Recital Hall with a wide-ranging program of works by Mozart, Beethoven, Rachmaninoff, and Chopin.

An artist who can trace her musical lineage to Beethoven, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, and Cortot, Ms. Koras will perform Mozart’s Fantasy in D minor, KV.397; Schubert’s Sonata in B-flat major, D. 960; Chopin’s Nocturne in C-sharp minor, Op. Posth. and Sonata in B minor, Op. 58; as well as two preludes by Rachmaninoff, Op. 3, No. 2, and Op. 32, No. 6.

As has become her tradition, she will give a second performance in Weill Recital Hall this season, on Wednesday, May 16, at 8 p.m.
