About This Show

Join us in celebrating the 75th Anniversary of Sergei Prokofiev’s Russian masterpiece with this grand-scale production created by The Little Orchestra Society. In this classic ‘boy meets wolf’ tale, directed by Annette Jolles, the village of Petrograd is under the curse of the witch Baba Yaga, and only through the reenactment of Peter and the Wolf can the curse be broken! This performance features music by other great Russian composers, including Stravinsky, Shostakovich and Kabalevsky.

Please join us for Peter’s Birthday Celebration, a family benefit at The Russian Tea Room, immediately following the 1:00pm performance. For more information, please call 212-971-9500.
