College classmates Diane and Grace meet for cocktail hour for an afternoon of gossip. But the din of clinking high-ball glasses and sparkling banter cannot squelch Diane’s deepest fears: Parenting and her teenage daughter Perry. Jump cutting from reality to fantasy and back again, Yes, Please, and Thank-You is a moving meditation on what it means to be a parent, a child and a woman (with a capital “W”) in today’s black “bourgeoisie”.
Please Note: This is not a full production, but is rather a semi-produced staged, “work-in-progress presentation”.
