About this show

WONDER OF THE WORLD was first produced in New York by Manhattan Theatre Club in 2001. It is a play of humor, whimsy and one woman's passionate search for purpose after she discovers a dirty secret in her husband's sweater drawer. We follow her as she flees to Niagara Falls in a frantic journey of self-discovery where she crosses paths with a blithely suicidal alcoholic, a lonely tour-boat captain, a pair of bickering private detectives and a strange caper involving a gargantuan jar of peanut butter; all of which push her perilously close to the edge of the falls. TRUE: Our plays are not for kids. Past projects include a minimalist take on SHE STOOPS TO CONQUER in 2009 and a newly adapted investigation of Charles Mee's ORESTES 2.0 (voted best of festival) in June of 2010. Both were presented in association with the BoCoCa Arts Festival.
